what if our words and thoughts are magnets

Would you spend your life in thoughts or words of fear and doubt?  Or would concentrate on abundance, goodness and beauty?  Would you continue to beat yourself up with negative thoughts?  Or would you start telling yourself that your blessed at everything that you do?   Or that you are beautiful?  That you attract all the right people and things?  Choose to create a better life for yourself.  Choose the right thoughts and words. 

What if we live up to this thought?

Consider the great truth that God/Creator needs you to be your most vibrant, strong and creative self.

 I believe as Christians we should not be frightened of being vulnerable.  Or at least be willing to share our vulnerabilities even if we are scared.  When we open up our hearts and share it frees others to do the same.  So often we are hiding something that if we were to share it, it would cause us to feel shame.  More often than not though someone else has had the same experience.  We are denying ourselves a strong and valued connection by not sharing.
As a Christian how do we deal with shame?   I don't have all the answers.  I do believe that sharing our inadequacies with the right person can be a freeing experience.  I would rather be vulnerable and open to new connections that closed and missing out on a connected life.

what if

I really am enough?  Just because the The Lord God made me.  Because He loves me.  What if I am enough?

What if

today we stop for one minute and think about the fact that the Creator of the universe loves us.  That brings me so much peace and joy!  Blessings to you!

a new year

2012 has just started.  I intend for it to be a prosperous and blessed year.  Phil. 4:8 says
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

This is how I intend to fill my mind.
